Overview

The BOOSTXL-3PHGANINV evaluation module features a 48-V/10-A three-phase GaN inverter with precision in-line shunt-based phase current sensing for accurate control of precision drives such as servo drives.

MotorControl SDK for C2000™ real-time control microcontrollers (MCU) is a cohesive set of software infrastructure, tools, and documentation designed to minimize C2000 MCU based motor control system development time targeted for various three-phase motor control applications.

What's new

  • New: Added TIDA-010936: Motor control with F28P65x LaunchPad and GaN BP
    • GUI Enables parameter configuration, on-line tuning and debugging without reprogramming within CCS
  • Updated TIDM-02017: 2/3 Wheeler Traction reference design for F28P55x
  • Updated TIDM-02012: Configured to use MATLAB's optimization settings to enable optimal real-time performance of the control loop and cleanup for better readability
  • Updated TIDA-010265: Updated design showing integration of IEC60730 compliant SDL and FAST libraries and added Simulink model
    • Support for 2-shunt and 3-shunt current sensing
  • Updated BOOSTXL_3PHGANINV: Port sensored FOC SDK code for F28P55x LaunchPad (PGAs) + Dual GaN BPs
