Overview
This reference design demonstrates highly-accurate sensing of skin temperature using the TMP117 high precision digital temperature sensor with CC2640R2F wireless MCU. This design provides design guidance for skin temperature measurement in medical and wearable applications along with an evaluation software and smart device application.
Features
- High accuracy (±0.1ºC) temperature measurement around human body temperature
- 2.4-GHz RF transceiver compatible with Bluetooth low energy (BLE) 4.2 and 5 specifications
- Flexible PCB design with integrated PCB antenna
- Up to three years of shelf-life along with five days of active time
- iOS app for device monitoring
A fully assembled board has been developed for testing and performance validation only, and is not available for sale.
