Overview

This reference design shows how to implement a Power Line Communication (PLC) for HV DC and AC lines. In particular this design has been done to show communication from multiple solar panesl to a data agregator connected or embedded to the string inverter input.

Features
  • OOK Modulation with 4 selectable modulating frequencies: 125kHz, 500kHz, 2MHz, 5MHz         
  • Built-in current limit protection, and reverse polarity protection using TI eFuse         
  • Space reduction trough the usage of the  same communication line for both receiving and transmitting         
  • BoosterPack design compatible with multiple microcontroller famlies like MSPM0 and C2000
