This reference design showcases a small form-factor LED driver (TPS92515) optimized to drive up to five infrared (IR) LEDs for industrial cameras and other general lighting designs. It can drive up to 1 A through LED loads of up to 9.5-V from a 24-V input source. The buck topology is implemented as a secondary-stage LED driver which is simple, high performance and cost effective. Additional design flexibility includes analog and PWM dimming (including shunt FET dimming) support as well as EMI filtering designed to meet FCC part 15 class B conduction requirements.
