MSP430-LEA-GUI
MSP430™ MCU Low-Energy Accelerator (LEA) Performance and Energy Saving GUI
MSP430-LEA-GUI
Overview
The low-energy accelerator (LEA) Performance and Energy Saving GUI, visually demonstrates the immediate benefit the LEA module integrated in some MSP430 microcontrollers (MCUs) can provide when performing vector-based signal processing operations. The tool allows users to quickly select an operation and test its performance in real-time on the MSP430FR5994 LaunchPad™ development kit. In addition, this tool takes advantage of MSP EnergyTrace™ technology to capture power data during function execution on the MCU. The operation is executed using both LEA and the CPU for a quick comparison of performance.
Features
- Quickly compare CPU and LEA performance
- Visualize average power and number of execution cycles
- Select between six vector-based signal processing operations
- Customize operation length and order to best represent your application
Get started
- Order the MSP-EXP430FR5994
- Open the LEA GUI
- Complete the demo
- Take the Advanced Signal Processing trainings
